Plymouth & Devon Racial Equality Council believes that to build a fair and just society everyone must have an equal chance to live, work and learn free from prejudice, discrimination and racism. It values diversity and works in partnership with individuals and organisations that are also committed to race equality.
Devon and Cornwall Refugee Suport has a dedicated team of co-ordinators, caseworkers, over 45 volunteers, and a Board of Trustees, who ensure that asylum seekers can seek sanctuary in Plymouth whilst the UK government decides on their claim. Their aim is to promote independence, prevent destitution and encourage integration.

Diversity Business Incubator (DBI) are a refugee led organisation that offer help and support for people from black, Asian and minority ethnicities (BAME) who are self-employed.
